01 Syntheri
Rocks
Syntheri Rocks is located in the dense forests of the Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary in the Western Ghats and is a remarkable aberration of nature that has whipped up the interests of geologists, archeologists, historians, tourists and nature lovers since ages. The monumental rock is 28 kms away from Dandeli town. Rising majestically from the banks of River Kalindi which merges into the River Kali, Syntheri Rocks is a remarkable masterpiece of nature and truly worth a visit.
02 Kavala
Caves
Kavala Caves are limestone caves that came about due to a volcanic activity dating back to ages. These caves are very tiny in dimension and an interesting way to enter them, after climbing down 375 steps one reaches the Cave entrance, and then has to crawl 40 ft deep through winding and have a lot of stalagmite formations. There is a particular huge stalagmite, which is revered by the local people as a Shivling.
03 Supa
Dam
Supa Dam(Ganeshgudi Dam) is built across Kalinadi (Kannada) or Kali river in state of Karnataka in India. The dam is situated in Joida taluk of Uttara Kannada district. The power house at the foot of the dam has two electricity generators of fifty megawatt each. The electricity generated is supplied to different parts of Karnataka. The dam was built by Hindustan Steel Works Construction Limited (HSCL) and is now operated by Karnataka Power Corporation Limited. The power house was commissioned in 1985.
04 Skyes
Point
Sykes Point is the top most viewpoint in Dandeli, Uttara Kannada District, Karnataka. Sykes Point is named after a British engineer who discovered it. The view point will give you a breathtaking panorama of River Kali flowing down the valley. You may also sight the flying hornbills adding an extra dash of scenic beauty to the bounty of nature that unfolds in front of your eyes. Sykes Point, Ambikanagar near Dandeli is renowned for this view of the River Kali that flows inside the Dandeli Reserve Forest.
05 Moulangi
Eco Park
It is a small river which joins the river Kali, So it is also called as Sangam. This spot has become one of the most popular picnic spots for people in and around Dandeli. You can enjoy beautifull view of nature.It is also the place where the rafting ends.It has Rock garden now which is attracting maximum tourist who can spend their summers with their family. You can spend the whole day hiking over the profound thick wilderness viewing the creepy crawlies turn their networks and organism developed on tree husks.
06 Ulavi
Cave
Ulvi (Ullavi) Caves are a bunch of caves in the Uttara Karnataka District of Karnataka. They offer a continuous circuit of trekking trails that allows you to explore gloriously dark rock caverns in a single day. The six known caves of Ulvi are situated in a tiger reserve and near it is Ulvi village. Despite this, you do not need permission as this region is also a well known pilgrimage and religious destination. Most devotees are making their way to the Channabasaveshwara Temple; incidentally, this is where your trail begins.
07 Crocodile
Park
The crocodile park comes under Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary and is recoginised by the Govt. ofIndia. Event he Government has sanctioned fund for the development of this park. This place is very close to Dande that is about 3 kms near Dandeliyappa Temple. If you just stand on the bank of the Kali river, you can see number of crocodiles in the river kali, you can also see same on the island. Yet there is lot to do as far as development is concerned and the department is working hard to make this place as one of the best tourist attraction in the coming days.
08 Wishing
Pond
This is unexplored place in dandeli were only local people visit to for inner peace it's surrounded with dense jungle . It's said that the pond is meant to be wishing pond, people ask their wish when they visit this pond.
